Wall Skate Park is in desperate need of TLC. So, it is now being revitalized by a group of young skateboarding enthusiasts. We are local Cheltenham High School students with the dream of turning Wall Skate Park into a safe, creative, free spirited, active sports area where skaters put away their phones, express themselves in athletic and creative ways, and form a strong and positive bond with the surrounding Wall Park Community, especially the children coming up behind us.

Wall Skate Park is a beautiful snapshot of the children and young adults of Cheltenham Township. Its users are multicultural, of all ages, genders, and skill levels. It’s a place where special needs community members are welcomed and treated as one of the crowd. The more experienced help the newcomers. We bring spare board parts, boards, and tools to share, some even bring old skate shoes for others to use.

We are the new generation of Wall Skate Park who have created a positive, active, and caring community. We now need to make the Skate Park safer, add more equipment, and acquire lights for evening skating.

We have reached out to the Cheltenham Commissioners, Parks and Recreation Dept., Township Manager, our Police Chief/Dept., CLL, and the Cheltenham community in an effort to continue to build positive relationships all around.
