Friends of Patrick Rettew

In January 2018 our friend Patrick Rettew was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic head and neck cancer that originated in the tonsil and metastasized into the lymph glands. Following a tonsillectomy, radiation and chemotherapy treatments over a 2 month period, doctors discovered the disease had further spread to the lungs and liver.

 

Patrick is currently being treated at Moore’s Cancer Center at University of California San Diego where a tremendous amount of resources have been expended to fight this deadly disease. After embracing a completely plant based diet, and following the research of the Nobel Prize winning Chemist Dr. Linus Pauling on the effects of extremely high intravenous doses of vitamin C on cancer, the debilitating cough that plagued him for months suddenly stopped after just 4 treatments. Unfortunately most of these treatments, in conjunction with the latest cancer fighting protocols and technologies are quite expensive and not covered by insurance. Medical expenses over the last 2 years have decimated family finances to the point Patrick needs our help.
