Hi friends,
I'm not sure how many of you have heard, but Monica's health is dealing her some new challenges, and she could really use our help. The six long years of chemo have resulted in a blood disorder which is sapping her strength and requiring a new course of treatment. Unfortunately, as a result, she has had to discontinue the PARP inhibitor clinical trial which has kept her cancer at bay. The condition has meant that she has had to have a whole new set of procedures, including two blood transfusions, and is seeing a new set of specialists, and all of this is very expensive. It's frankly just not affordable, actually, and I'm afraid that she is making decisions about her healthcare based on her finances. I'm reaching out to ask you all to please say a prayer for Monica every day, and to lend her a hand from your heart and your pocketbook if you are able. Gift cards for groceries (Shoprite or Wegmans), Amazon, Target, gas, or restaurants would all greatly help to ease the burden, as would offers to drive her to doctors appts in Philadelphia, go fund me donations, etc. She never asks for help, so I'm asking for her. Bless you all for your support of our dear friend.
