It is with great sadness the extended family of Joseph Damon Mitchell, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Huntington, WV, announces his untimely passing of a heart attack in his sleep on January 18, 2018.
Joe was a devoted father, a loyal friend, a gifted comedian, an encyclopedic mind, when it came to sports and music, and an individual that shall not be forgotten by his litany of life-long loyal friends. P.S. Joe HATED Facebook GO: BUFFALO BILLS; GRAND FUNK; PITTSBURGH PIRATES; and LA CLIPPERS in that order.
This fund was created to help with Joe's final arrangements and to help establish a college fund for his daughter Carmen. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider supporting this effort.
