Dear Friends,
As many of you are aware, our friend Gary Rooplal's wife Nirmalla is in critical condition as she battles cancer. Gary is an immensely private person. He appreciates all our support but is not comfortable discussing the details of what is going on in his life right now. We have been working hard to find a way to help him and his family in a manner that is respectful of his privacy. Gary has been with the school for 15 years. Even as Gary and his family navigate through Mrs. Rooplal's illness, Gary continues to greet every student, staff member, parent and visitor by name with his trademark smile, humor and positivity.
Gary treats each of our children as his own. He welcomes them each morning by name and escorts them to their bus or carpool with a personal goodbye as well. He is completely dedicated to our students, ensuring they are safe and feel secure and supported throughout the school day.
Now it is time for us to demonstrate our support to Gary and his family in return. Please consider contributing to our campaign, any and all donations are welcome.
