Batch Brewing Company is temporarily closing down, guys.


If we've learned anything from this outbreak, is that we are all interconnected. We rely on each other. We depend on each other's judgement. On each other's conscientiousness. On each other's generosity of spirit.

We're all nervous. Nervous for our friends and families, for our own well being, for the future of our businesses, for what life will look like on the other end of this unknown.

There are a lot of unknowns.

What is known is this: The Governor has just temporarily closed all restaurants for dine-in.

The unfortunate reality is that carry out business won't sustain Batch Brewing Company. Because of this, we are temporarily shutting our doors.

While Batch Brewing Company takes a hiatus during these historic circumstances, we've had to lay off our entire staff. They will be eligible for unemployment. We will be applying for every local, state, and federal program to help our team and our business. 

None of those things will make our team whole.

So, we're asking you to help us supplement their lost income. There are two ways to contribute: pre-purchasing beers at the brewery and/or tipping your server.

Any contribution you make in increments of $5 will be considered a pre purchased beer. This money, minus fees and taxes, will go to our employees. You'll have beers banked to drink once we reopen.

Any contribution you make in any other increment than $5 dollars will be considered a 'tip' for our staff. If you contribute $98, that all (minus gofundme fees) goes to our staff.

If you want to both pre-purchase beers and tip our staff, we ask that you separate your contributions to avoid any confusion. 

We all depend on the 15 million people working in the restaurant and hospitality industry in the United States. Right now, they're all depending on us.

We're working on taking care of our team. We could really use your help to do it well.
