After years of teaching Alberta’s youth how to safely ride off road, the ASA’s SAFE RIDERS school program has lost its government funding. We have reached around 10,000 students per year over the last decade and have already committed to this season as well. We now need your help to bring the only safe snowmobile and ATV riding lessons that Alberta’s students receive. We need to raise $50,000.00 to pay the program costs this season while we seek new ongoing funding.

Reaching almost 10,000 students each school year, this in-school interactive seminar addresses safe and responsible, all season off road riding habits and techniques for students in K-3, Grades 4 - 6, and 7 - 12. Each level presents the Ride With Respect messages in an age appropriate manner.
This school year, we have no government funding and are already committed to the schools for the coming season.
No Cost to Schools or Students!
The ASA and other presenting partners cover all the costs of presentation and materials for the school. We bring it all with us!
All Seasons
The Ride With Respect curriculum covers all riding seasons on all machine types - snowmobiling as well as summer riding - quads, side by sides and dirt bikes are all covered.

This interactive seminar brings students the basics of safe, responsible riding. This material is not a part of the Alberta school curriculum and we are the only source of this potentially life saving information for our kids!
Smart Choices!
Accidents are predictable and preventable. We have choices in where, when, how and who we ride with. Good choices set us up for success. Unnecessarily pushing the limits or improper planning may lead to close calls or worse, a serious accident or even a fatality.
This is a just one of just some of the activities the ASA undertakes as it leads our sport in Alberta. It does all this without the benefit of a mandatory trail pass (as in all other jurisdictions in Canada!) and with the least expensive membership in Canada at only $80 for a full season.
The ASA, its clubs and volunteers, are nearing the end of their tank of resources, and we need your help to keep our sport moving down the trail. Please consider donating today and purchasing a membership ASA Membership
This Campaign will go towards the following;
1. Teaching Alberta Youth safe and responsible riding! This Alberta Government approved curriculum costs in excess of $75,000.00 per season to present, province wide.
