Friends in Nepal

On the 23rd of April this year I will be returning to the Everest region of Nepal to catch up with friends and to see more of this incredible area.
As some of you may know, I was in the Everest region when the tragic earthquake of 2015 struck and was extremely fortunate to be looked after by some truly amazing people.
Despite international fundraising efforts, very little of the money raised has found its way into the mountainous areas, making life extremely hard for many of the families there.
Since my return to the UK, I have been doing my best to support my friends in Nepal but I would love to be able to return there this year, with a sum of money that can make a real difference to one of these families.
My target amount of £1,000 will comfortably pay for schooling for almost 2 years for one of my friends daughters and will take a lot of pressure off of a man who is just trying to provide the best life he can for his family.
Rather than sending money through a registered charity, where a percentage of what you give will go into admin and other costs, every penny of the money donated here, will go directly to the family for whom it is intended to benefit and I can guarantee you, will be greatly appreciated and will make a real and valuable difference to their quality of life.
