Transport and supplies for refugees in Ukraine

Dear Friends

We (me (Daniel Nove) and my friend (Partik Cavoj)) are driving a van, providing supplies to the volunteers on the border and in Ukraine, taking people and animals to the train stations and shelters, and supplying blankets, food, and financial help to the refugees. Until now, each trip was 24-26 hours, and was close to 2000 euros, with shopping for the project and petrol).

 

Our luck is that we can speak seven languages between us, Russian, Czech, Polish and English included, so that we can assist directly.

We previously volunteered in Mozambique and the UK and completed the Development Instructors path with ADPP.

 

You can help by donating, as there are many expenses for petrol, food, and other necessities, and it is covered privately.

Update:

Dear all,

Thank you all again for the provided support.

I mentioned in my last profile update that we will go again in July.

However, with my new job (I got a probation period of 6 months) and some personal stuff, Patrik and I are finding it challenging to go now.

At present, we will freeze the project until the end of August-September. Then, we will reevaluate, see where we stand, and post an update of our plan.

We still have 240 Euros of the donated money, and we will not use it until our plan has shape.
