Free Toys for vulnerable children

Hi my name is Pembe!

 

I am a professional princess party performer for children. I started this cosplay journey to put smiles on children's faces whilst also bring representation to the limelight. I really want every child to see that they can be whoever they wish to be. No matter they’re race or background.

 

Throughout my adventure I realised that I could do something more impactful for the children who aren’t as fortunate. And came up with the project “ Esengo”I thought about the children in hospitals, orphanages, refugee camps and those in Africa, particularly in Congo (DRC).

 

With “Make a wish’ I decided to volunteer and visit children in various hospitals, orphanages refugee camps & even those far away in Congo DRC, which is where I am originally from.

 

My aim is to buy gifts for the children on every visit that I make and to cover my expenses. Such as travel & Costume maintenance, which can be quite pricey. But I want to make sure that every visit that I make leaves every child feeling as if they were in a fairytale.

Unfortunately I lack the support to achieve this, and that is why I started this go fund me page. If you could,

help me raise funds and donate as much as you can, it will make make this project all the more successful!

 

Help me put a smile on a child’s face today. Being in a place such as a hospital, isn’t really exciting or fun for a child. but I hope that by visiting them, I can take their minds off any anxiety, fear or sadness.

 

Children love toys! It would be amazing if we could raise some money to buy these children something that will make them happy, whilst creating a special & memorable moment with a princess.

 

This will be a long term project. I hope to do this for as long as I possibly can.
