Free Carolynn Bernard!

Carolynn Bernard-Harwell is a pillar of the shepherding community in the Pacific Northwest. A veteran, Carolynn has continued her life of service both informally to the shepherding and associated communities, and formally, as a director for the breed association for the sheep she raises.

Her devotion to rescuing and finding forever homes for sheep, working border collies and livestock guardian dogs (LGDs) is legendary.

A talented photographer and artist, Carolynn shares her world with us through her images and her art.

She mentors new shepherds and tirelessly advises and assists those of us who call on her for her extensive knowledge and experience.

But today, Carolynn needs our help.

To understand what Carolynn is facing, please watch this video:

Your help is urgently needed today. Carolynn is struggling to get herself out of an abusive marriage against long odds and with no resources of her own. Part of her abuse has been removing her access to funds; to make sure she has nothing to fight back with. No way to flee. No way to stand on her own two feet.

The only way she can do this is with our help. Please give whatever you can today.
