Frederick Family Fire Recovery Fund
My name is Dena La Rue, my husband Lash and I are starting this fundraiser for our dearest friends, Robert and Patty Frederick whom we've known through the military for 20 years.
On Saturday, May 29th, 2021 the family went through a devastating deadly fire at their home that has taken the lives of their precious daughter, Shauna 18, a recent high school graduate and Patty's Father, Edmond Davis, 74 (USMC Ret., 2 War Veteran). They also lost their family pets, a dog and 2 cats. Robert, (USMC Ret., combat Veteran) and current Gatlinburg Police Officer was seriously injured while trying to save his daughter and father-in-law, he is currently recovering at the Vanderbilt Burn Center.
We are raising funds for the Frederick family to help them get started rebuilding and offset some of the expenses they are going to incur. We hope to alleviate some of the stress that they will face as they begin to recover and build. Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs, and we are hoping to bring them some peace of mind while recovering from this devastating loss.
