Since my wife and I agreed to a divorce over a year ago, things have escalated to the point at which I have to leave as soon as I can. I am living in a motel with the things I could take with me. Due to my wife’s actions, I do not feel safe returning to my house at the moment, and have been living out of a suitcase for the last week.

I cannot go into too much detail, but I’ve been cut off from accounts and information that are required in a divorce, and need to pay a lawyer to subpoena this information from the banks and departments. No-one seems to understand why my wife is doing this, and I don’t think speculating is going to get things done any faster.

As I’ve shared my story with others, the overwhelming sympathy and support has helped see, even in this frightening situation, that I have people who can look out for me, and that I can stand my ground against whatever may come.

If you can spare any money, I would appreciate donations of any size. I am hoping to raise $15,000 to cover legal fees, as well as get me somewhere safe so that I can get back to working and living in peace.

Legal Costs: Est. $8000+ (Across both recent false accusations and help to start the divorce.).

Rental housing: $3000 (Two months deposit and first month for a single room.)

Living expenses: $2000 (For a few months of travel, food, clothes, etc..).

The proceeds will be sent to my Aunt and Uncle in Ohio, who have been great in supporting me through this ordeal, and will be able to act if something happens to me. Hopefully I can find a job soon, and remaining funds will be used to replace money spent on previous legal fees.
