Franks 10K a day for Dr Kershaws

I have been wanting to do a fundraiser for Dr Kershaws for some time so thought I better get my backside in gear and sort it out.

I plan to do a 10k walk every day in September with a little longer walk on the last day to top 200 miles in the month. (Every day steps and walks won’t count)

Dr Kershaws is a charity close to my heart due to the tremendous care my Fiancé’s dad received whilst in their care.

walking is also something that has become an important part of my life and has helped me get through the last 18 months or so.

walking and talking is a way of de stressing and just having a good old fashioned chin wag to get things off your chest. This being the case if anyone wants to join me throughout September on any of my walks feel free to drop me a message. I will keep people updated on the times of my walks.

Dr Kershaws Hospice provides specialist palliative care for patients with non curable, life limiting illnesses in a peaceful and homely environment. Our services include, a 24 hour inpatient unit, Hospice at Home, Caring Hands and our Well Being Centre. All services provided are free of charge and costs 8500 pounds per day to run. Your support is enabling us to continue providing this unique care to our patients and their families.
