Franklin and Lincoln to ANA-WFM, Chicago
The Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists Foundation is currently raising money to have living history interpreters Patrick McBride as Benjamin Franklin and Dennis Boggs as Abraham Lincoln attend in person the American Numismatic Association World's Fair of Money in Rosemont, Chicago August 16-20, 2022 and the P.A.N. Fall Coin Show to be held at the Monroeville Convention Center, 209 Mall Blvd, Monroeville, PA 15146 near Pittsburgh PA on October 20-22, 2022
Ben and Abe will present themselves in character to speak of our nation's history. Part of their presentations will focus on the medals, coins, and currencies from their time periods.
The funds raised will be used to pay for Dennis Boggs' airfare from Nashville TN, hotel cost, meals, and daily performance per diem. Remaining funds will cover Patrick McBride's expenses. They both recently appeared at the American Numismatic Association World's Fair of Money in Chicago. Their joint appearance was extremely popular with attendees. They will be available for photos, selfies, business promotions, etc. The families with children were particularly delighted to have this unique aspect available at a coin shows.
