On February 14th at 2:20am Heaven gained the most amazing angel. My Daddy. My hero. Frank Jackman. The most amazing Grandpa there has ever been, and my beautiful mama’s best friend for 40 years. He was the most honorable, honest, hardworking man in the whole world constantly providing such an amazing life for his family. So strong and so tough. It is absolutely devastating. So sudden. We are still in shock and just trying to process the whole thing.
I have started this page to help my Mom with this unexpected financial crisis so that she is able to focus on her health and healing.
This year, Shawn and my Dad embarked on the most amazing venture by starting a new company here in Texas. We wanted so badly for my Mom and Dad to be able to move here and retire while being able to finally enjoy the best times of their lives. My dad has been here staying with us for the past 6 weeks getting everything started. Starting this company took everything we had. All of our savings, all of our credit and we had just finally got some huge jobs lined up. Unfortunately he was never able start these projects. We will not be able to go on without him, and because we were already behind from devoting everything we had to the start of this company, we are unable to help her financially like we wish we could.
We will be driving my mom back home to California and staying with her while we get my parents home on the market so she will have the funds that she needs to survive. I am hoping that this fund might be able to help us take care of his final expenses and all of the astronomical medical costs associated with his care since he was out of network for his insurance and had no life insurance policy in place. My parents are both so very proud, and I know that they would never want to ask for any help but if there has ever been a time that they need it, it is now. Anything will help her and I can’t tell you all how much we appreciate your thought and prayers.
