Francesca "Frankie" Athanasopoulos, just 16, was tragically killed in a car accident Tuesday night, November 7 near her home in Beecher, IL. She and her boyfriend were heading to Frankie's home, waiting to pull into her family's driveway when a vehicle suddenly hit their car from behind, sending them into oncoming traffic.

As friends and loved ones, we wish to lessen the financial burden by raising money to help pay for the funeral and medical fees. Any amount, no matter how small, would be so helpful. 

Francesca was born April 15, 2001 in Naperville, Illinois, the daughter of Konstandinos and Melissa nee Belmont Athanasopoulos. She was a student in Beecher School District 200-U, participating in Basketball and the Drama Club. “Frankie” loved to sing and liked music especially Country Thunder. Surviving are her Parents Konstandinos and Melissa Athanasopoulos, Brother Anastasios (Niko), Sister Angelina (Nina), sister Jennifer Boyle, grandfather Lance Belmont, grandfather Tasos Athanasopoulos, and her dear boyfriend Karl L. Krudup. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Kyriaki and Virginia.
