Frankie's Long Road of Recovery

Our brother Frankie Fleming was hit by a car crossing a street in Phoenix Arizona on February 6, 2018. He was hit straight on and broke through the windshield, then was thrown over and landed behind the car. As a result he is now permanently a paraplegic. He also has two broken legs, broken ribs, a broken back, his pelvic and collar bones are both broken, his lung is collapsed, his liver is lacerated, he also has a bruised aorta, a concussion as well as brain damage, blood clots in his legs, and he is currently surviving off of a feeding tube.

We are so grateful that he survived this horrific accident, however Frankie’s life is and our lives are forever changed as he will need 24 hour care, aids in learning how to use his mouth and correct his speech performance in addition to several more surgeries. He will also need housing that provides him with the proper equipment and access for the attention that he will need for the rest of life.
