On Jan 1st 2020, Frankie Smith Sr was in an major automobile accident in East Chicago, IN.  He suffered a medical emergency while driving and struck an ongoing train. He was excavated at the scene and airlifted by a helicopter to a hospital in Chicago. He is currently stable but in serious condition. He has numerous surgical procedures and rehabilitation ahead of him. But if you know "peewee", he is truly a fighter. This is an extremely difficult time for him and his family.
