Frank's Fine Shine

Many people at The Plaza of the Americas and in the downtown area know Frank and have for many years.  Frank is the owner of "Fine Shine"  in the building for more than 28 years.  He has friends everywhere that make the time to come see him and get their shoes or boots shined and visit with him.  People love his friendly personality and funny sense of humor first thing in the morning.  Frank has a smile that is unforgettable, especially when someone had a bad day.  He made sure you didn't walk away without a laugh.  The positive environment he surrounded us with everyday is not as happy now with Frank being absent. 

Frank has been in ICU at Medical City Hospital since Monday, September 9th.  The doctors have found a tumor on his pancreas that is pushing against his lungs.   In order for Frank to breathe, he has been put on life support.  The tumor could eventually crush his lungs if not removed. 

We are praying that Frank has a speedy recovery and comes back to greet us soon.  While Frank is recovering in the hospital, there are still expenses to be paid while he is not working.  Any amount would be appreciated and would help Frank out tremendously.  All donations received will go directly to Frank.
