FRANK MARCUS –BELOVED REPAIRMAN

Hello Friends and Colleagues,

 

Today we are raising funds  to honour and support our beloved friend, colleague and woodwind repairman extrordinaire, Frank Marcus.  

 

 

For decades, Frank has repaired, maintained and cared  for the instruments of woodwind players all over the world.   His expertise and love for his craft has brought joy (and relief) to musicians and music lovers everywhere. 

Frank has had some health troubles recently, and while he continues to work faithfully, he is being tested and monitored carefully. (Benson Bell has taken over some of the work to keep the repairs flowing smoothly.)

Frank doesn’t know we are doing this and and it must be kept secret until the last minute as he would probably refuse. As you know, he makes his living entirely from repair work, and if we contribute, maybe it can make things a bit easier while he recuperates.
