FRANK JANSMA'S FIGHT AGAINST PARKINSON'S DISEASE

Donation protected

As many of you already know, our amazing friend Frank has sadly been dealing with the devastating effects of Parkinson’s Disease since May of 2021.

There has been an extreme decline in his health, and he is now at a point where he needs help with everyday tasks, along with his 95-year-old mother that lives with them.
Franks wife Debby is struggling with the balance of working full time, to pay the ever-growing (non-insurance covered) medical bills and medications, while also being a full-time care giver for both. Just the current medication is costing them $8,400 per year out of their own pocket. This disease has financially, physically, and emotionally affected them all in the worst ways. There is no cure for Parkinson's disease, but there are treatments available that could help manage Franks symptoms and give him back his much-desired independence and quality of life.

Currently, the tremors in Franks hands and body have harshly been getting worse, he has lost a lot of weight, he needs assistance with standing, has restless sleep, fatigue, dizziness, poor balance, difficulty thinking, struggles with eating, has muscle stiffness and so much more. It is devastating to watch this decline, while fully knowing that there are solutions out there that could reverse these effects and give him back the life he deserves. However, these solutions are not covered by his insurance company at all. Shockingly, just the basic treatments and requests for caregivers and help are not even covered by his insurance company. Frank even tried to get state assistance and got denied because he already has medical insurance, from his many years of working as a Deputy. How is this insurance any good if it doesn’t cover what he needs – this is so frustrating to me!

So, Frank still being the independent man he is in his mind, then tried to get into some free clinical trials. Sadly, they also denied him because the doctors had already given him meds that would interfere with their study.

Now, with all ideas and tears exhausted Frank is finally letting me write this to you all, after being told “NO” multiple times I may add!

I can’t imagine how hard and humbling this must be for him, but I am honored to ask anyone and everyone on his behalf, because I know that he has many friends and family members that love him, PLEASE HELP! Even the smallest amounts add up...
The goal is to get the most effective treatments we can find, which is currently stem cell therapy and to pay for the current medications, to help relieve the financial burden on their lives.

Stem cell treatments for Parkinson's disease has been proven to work and Frank already knows about a facility that has helped others like him. Stem cells are used to replace the lost or damaged dopamine-producing neurons in the brain, which are responsible for the symptoms of Parkinson’s. This treatment could allow Frank to once again hike, dance, travel and do all the normal daily tasks that he is sadly not able to do anymore. He is too young to give up and we aren’t going to let him!

PLEASE help him with this fight! All donations will go directly to Frank so that he can get the life-changing treatments he desperately needs and desires.

PLEASE SHARE THIS ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA AND TO ALL FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS!
