Six years ago on October 19th was a beautiful day. It was the beginning of Ashlee and I starting our beautiful and unbeatable bond that would undoubtedly lead to our engagement at Disney during Christmas in 2016. Since then we have set a date, got a beautiful venue (Tampa Theatre) and started the task of making this wedding a reality!!!! Originally we wanted to be married on October 19,2017 but trying times were upon us.
When I was 28 years old, my daughter needed to move to Tampa and I was going to be a “Weekend Daddy” so I moved to Tampa as well. It’s a different scene over here. My profession is bartending and it is a competitive market. Sometimes jobs can shift with the wind. It has been a struggle ever since I moved here but I’ve never given up. However, moving here was the best thing that ever happened to me because I met the woman of my dreams.
Sadly, four months prior to getting married on October 19,2017 I was laid off of a great job due to seasonal requirements, and I was told I was considered full time. This was one of the biggest let downs of my life. We then knew we had to push back our wedding and continue to move forward. I quickly dusted myself off and found a job in sales that looked very promising. Looks can be deceiving. After a few months of training and some amazing sales, the job wasn’t exactly what it appeared to be. This was a job that was going to take time to build and see the benefits long term, which wasn’t going to get us our wedding in time. We knew we made a deal with our venue to hold our spot for October 2018 and we just had to figure something out. I did the one thing I knew to do and went back to bartending. I’ve got a good job, and Ashlee as well but at this stage, we won’t be able to achieve the wedding of our dreams.
We both have been married before. We both never got the experience Of the magical proposal and a beautiful ceremony to share with our loved ones. Ashlee and I are so deeply in love and want to share this love with our family and to do that, I would like to ask you for your help!!! Whatever you might be able to contribute will bring us closer to our Dream. We didn’t have an option to postpone a 2nd time without losing the money we’ve already put for holding our amazing venue. This year is it!!! Anything will be deeply appreciated, We have asked our family for no gifts, for the gift of marriage and a beautiful day to cherish forever meant more to us than anything. Help us reach our goal of $4000 and help make our dream come true!!!! We will be spending $1500 on catering, $1000 on cake and favors for guests, $500 on a DJ to dance the night away, and $1000 to help us go on a Honeymoon.
