Fr Martin's Mission for Student Nurses in Malawi

The parishioners of Drumraney have organised a walk to help Fr. Martin, a native of Drumraney, raise funds for his mission work in Malawi.

Fr. Martin is based in Mzuzu, and his passion project right now is to build a hostel for accommodation for student nurses. The country, being one of the poorest in the world, need healthcare staff now more than ever and with fees for studying and accommodation being so high, these young people cannot complete their studies. This hostel will help students cut a lot of their costs in order to graduate in the nursing industry and help their own country.
