Our dad, Robert

We are raising money for our dad who has been diagnosed with Tonsil Cancer. We have just recently learned that he will begin treatments at the end of October for 7 weeks straight, Mon-Fri. Due to some real unfortunate circumstances our dad is not working nor does he have extended medical to help with accomodations, travel, medications or even everyday income. EI is willing to help out until November 30th and after that he is completely on his own, he has been told he will not be able to return to work until the end of Feb-beginning of March which leaves 3-4 months with zero income coming in. We are asking that anyone in contact with our dad to please to keep this quiet, he is way to proud to ask for help and we believe he would be very upset with us in doing so until after the fact! Our dad is 53 years old and has MANY years ahead of him and 4 grandsons who look up to him so much. Please know that even though we are not able to let our dad know about this at the moment, we will let him know each and every person that helps him through this treatment worry free. The funds will fully and completely go to accomodations to stay in Victoria and hopefully  if enough raised, a worry free recovery!
