For My Mother

Hello everyone, it’s me Nova. It has been a very long and unexpected year of events. As many of you know, I was injured on my job at UPS (rib contusion) severe injury that cause me to have to take a leave of absent from my job of passion, that is working as a fitness instructor. The road to recovery has been way longer than I expected . Along with that , I also work as a caregiver to my sweet mother, Cozet who is now 83 years young. This year has also been a rough one for her. She has faced several falls and a few setback that has caused her to weaken to the point that now it has been strongly recommended by a few of her doctors that she no longer live alone. It has never been my mother desire to live in a nursing home and it has never been my choice to place her in one of those institution. Although she has become limited, she still have a great zest for life and as long as she can continue to struggle to maintain her routine of being and doing what is most important to her, being involved in her volunteer work of sharing bible truth with all who she can, and being involved in encouraging and being an example to others, young and old, I will assist her to fulfill this desire. She is a excellent example of one that is tenacious, not giving in to the pain that she live with 24/7, and never complaining. There is so much I could write and say about my mother, but it would be a few volumes to tell of her love to all, she being called mommy by everyone that has come to know her. The reason for this GoFundMe is that as mentioned this year with the injury I substained, I have not been able to work at LA Fitness or at Help At Home, the agency that worked for my mother, I have taken a fifty percentage lost of my income and it has been difficult but we have gotten by. But on the bright side, my mother desire is coming a reality in that she has accepted that she can no longer live alone and so we searched for and have been blessed to find a beautiful home that she can live her days out and relieve her anxieties and my of living alone. So this is the purpose of this, GoFundMe. Things has been financially tight for me and I want to assist my mother in purchasing things that is necessary and she does not have upon moving into the home. I hope and pray that the time I have left with her, is to see her at peace and comfort . Love and miss everyone. Nova
