Masks for a Safer Community

Donation protected

Hello, I am Justin Huebl, a student at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland and son of an oncologist. As the onslaught by COVID-19 continues, I am alarmed that in many Senior Homes in not only Maryland but many other states, COVID carriers and patients are becoming increasingly identified. To contribute to a safer community, I am starting the "Masks for a Safer Community" initiative. Let's donate masks not only to Senior Homes, but to essential workers such as grocery clerks, post office workers, emergency responders, and gas station employees, that our world would not function without. Through such efforts, I am hoping we will be able to slow down and stop the spread of the Coronavirus because of fewer carriers and patients, resulting in fewer fatalities. I do believe that prevention is more effective than treatment, particularly in this unprecedented battle against the Coronavirus Pandemic.

In the past two weeks, we have supplied over 5000 masks, and supplies are running low. Please consider donating masks to local community workers and Senior Homes, and any forgotten "Corners of the Vulnerable". I hope you will join me to tackle this task. Your efforts will be rewarded, as we will have a safer community and we will save lives. Thank you, and stay safe.
