On Wednesday, October 8th Mike Hauserman went into Munson Hospital in Traverse City, MI experiencing a shortness of breath and hoping for a cure for a lingering cold. He came to find out it was much more complex and involved not just the cold but a bad heart that is affecting his Lungs, Liver and Kidneys. Due to the complexity of his sickness he was air lifted down to the University of Michigan CICU in order to receive the best treatment possible. As they continue to explore options to fix his heart his organs are shutting down and the Doctors are unable to get invasive on his heart until those are healthy. The options that we know of currently range from fixing this chemically, mechanically or as extreme as a heart transplant. Regardless of the test results, Mike needs our help in making sure he can continue to receive the best care around. We are asking you to join our family in helping him through this difficult time.
