Rocky’s surgery

Hello everyone, Rocky Boy has been diagnosed with a malignant mass cell tumor. He needs to get the tumor removed as soon as possible and send it for further testing and figure out what type of cancer and how aggressive it is. The vet will also do some chest X-rays to see if the cancer has spread. Unfortunately this diagnosis came after signing up for a new insurance policy and they will not cover his procedure due to it being a pre existing condition. Rocky’s procedure is estimated to cost between $1,600-$2000. This is on top of the $600 I’ve already spent on back to back visits to the vet last week trying to figure out what’s wrong.

Anyone who knows me knows how much my 2 pups mean to me and I am absolutely devastated that this is happening to my Rocky Boy so suddenly. He is only 6 years old and is turning 7 on January 13th. His surgery is scheduled for January 6th. I am determined to fight this and pray that after his surgery we will have some better news.
