AGELESS deals, in part, with some of the difficulty’s seniors face, and so I felt it was a fitting organization to support with the play. “AGELESS is a speculative-fiction play set in a society where physical aging has been eradicated. The play follows Marin, a woman who chooses to defy social expectations and allow herself to age naturally. This brings her into conflict with her mother Olivia, one of the developers of the anti-aging drug and its staunchest advocate. AGELESS is about mothers and daughters, about our relationship with the environment and with one another, and about the necessity of rethinking our society's attitudes toward aging and mortality”

Four Walls Theater is a brand-new virtual theater founded by Brooklyn based playwright, Elana Gartner. Four Walls Theater’s mission is to provide socially responsible theater through online readings of plays. Our goals for Four Walls Theater are:
· To bring together three sections of the population: theater makers, charities/people in need, and audiences.
· Explore and provide a platform for theater to continue during these uncertain times.
· Provide a working environment and art that is inclusive, diverse and respectful of all backgrounds.
Our audiences will find these elements in each Four Walls Theater Production:
· A featured playwright whose play is considered new work.
· A spotlight on a charity chosen by the playwright and Four Walls will be donating a portion of funds raised to that charity.
· Actors and Production teams coming together online in real time from all over the country.
· A live reading through an online platform that our audience can watch in real time that has been rehearsed with our talented director and cast of actors in each show.
AGELESS was chosen for our first production streaming live on May 1, 2020, and this is why:
“When I was choosing our first production, we were in the first few weeks of the Covid-19 lockdown. Time had become strange. Days were melting and I wondered what it would be like when we all emerged on the other side. When I read Ageless, I thought that the theme of time was particularly poignant. Bridgette beautifully weaves together questions of ethics with lovely dialogue. Her characters are well developed and she presents multiple sides of humanity. I invite you to meet us in the future in Ageless.”

Please consider donating to our fund-raising campaign to support the Meals on Wheels America charity and the actors and theater artists who have poured their energy into creating this live show over the past three weeks. Our hope is that our audience will donate whatever they are able in these uncertain times to watch our live production. The funds raised in this campaign will be used to donate to our spotlighted charity, cover overhead costs of launching an online theater production, pay our actors participating in the production, and pay our production team, which includes our producer, playwright, director, sound designer, and marketing and design team. Our budget percentages based on what this campaign is able to raise is listed below.
