Cynthia here, from Bee Holistic Cat Rescue and Care! (Registered non-profit, # 510659945) We've had a bumper crop of surgeries in the last two weeks, and have two more coming up!!

This campaign is for Angie, pictured, Theo, below, Louisa, Tink, and Archie! We really need some help: here are their stories:
Angie was found injured on the street.  A VERY good Samaritan took her to the emergency PETS center in Berkeley, and she was traced to me via her chip! She was there for two days, and was glad to see me!  PETS had given her fluids, x-rays, and pain meds, but had not operated on her.  I took her the next day to my dear Dr. Han, and he operated on her large new hernia! He thought she might havbe been caught by a dog and shaken. Or maybe kicked hard; her belly was completely bruised.  She saw our chiropractor, and will see her again next week.  Her back was very sore. She is recovering very well indeed!!
Theo! Dearly beloved!  Photo below! He came to me when a caller found him lying in her front yard.  He was four months old then, but weighed what a two-month-old would weigh.  His eyes were sealed shut, and he did not move.  Turned out he had panleukopenia, akin to distemper in dogs (my second case ever) There is no treatment known for this dread disease, save for support, and we gave him lots of that. He did NOT want to be fed, but I fed him anyway.  He slept with me,  purring. We worked closely with a homeopath, and he ...survived! After three weeks he started to eat again! Now he eats us out of house and home!! We love it!! He has gained over a pound. He lost both his eyes, however, one after the other.  And he can't walk yet, or control his evacuation, but he's a happy little guy...I hold him a lot of the time! He too gets chiro and acupuncture, and will see Gary Richter, DVM, next week for an evaluation and long-term plan.  Dr. R spoke in Berkeley last night about cannabis and his incorporating it into many of his treatmenet plans...His new book is great: The Ultimate Pet Health guide..get it!
This is getting too long: I think I'll tell the stories of Louise, Tink, and Archie in my updates! Watch for them! Share their campaigns: we need all the help we can get this time!! Bless you!!
