There are moments in life when one practical gift can completely change a family's future.

Josh and Kayley are faithful attenders of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, and the loving parents of three beautiful children. This October, they are eagerly preparing to welcome their fourth child into the world.

As their family grows, so has one of their greatest challenges: dependable transportation.

Today, Josh and Kayley share a single vehicle with other working family members. Every week requires coordinating schedules, hoping the vehicle is available when it is needed, and wondering whether transportation will fall through.

For Josh, this is more than an inconvenience.

As an independent contractor, if he cannot get to a job site, he often has no choice but to decline the work. Every missed job means lost income. Every lost opportunity makes it more difficult to provide for his growing family.

The financial strain is real.

So is the emotional burden.

Instead of focusing on preparing to welcome their new baby, Josh and Kayley often find themselves wondering from one month to the next whether reliable transportation will be available so Josh can continue earning a living and supporting his family.

But God has opened a door.

A local automobile dealer has generously offered a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus at dealer cost, creating a rare opportunity to provide this family with a dependable vehicle at a significantly reduced price.

So, our church is helping them.

This van represents far more than transportation.

It means Josh can confidently accept work without worrying whether he will have a way to get there.

It means greater financial stability for a young family striving to build a secure future.

It means Kayley can safely transport four children to doctor's appointments, church, school activities, and everyday errands.

Most importantly, it means this growing family can travel together safely, knowing they have a vehicle designed to meet their needs.

Our goal is to raise $12,000 to purchase the vehicle, cover taxes, registration, and the initial expenses necessary to put it safely on the road.

Holy Trinity American Orthodox Church is organizing this fundraiser with Josh and Kayley's full permission. Every dollar given will go directly toward helping this family obtain this vehicle and remove one of the greatest burdens they currently face.

Scripture reminds us:

"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Galatians 6:2
