Tyler, we miss you..
On behalf of Anarbor and The Hedstrom Family, we regret to inform you that Tyler, our drummer, friend, and colleague took his life this week at his home in Arizona. We are devastated. Tyler was very happy and jovial beforehand, and was becoming a very successful musician. This shows us that life can indeed be fragile, even if you don't see it.
Tyler was 17, a gifted and magnificent musician and an inspiration to all of us. He was changing how we approached our live show, how we approached music and most of all how we approached people. You made us a better band, you made all of us better people.
Tyler, you became part of another family when you decided to beome a musician at a very young age, a music family that stretches across the world, and we are all here for you. You don’t know this yet, but you’re helping so many people right now with your story, it’s invaluable the effect you had on us, your family and people around you, and this won’t stop, you’re here forever with us.
Sharing Tyler's story is important to us, and sharing this struggle with fellow musicians, youth and others will resonate and help so many.
Tylers life affected and touched so many people, this will be an intensive and expensive process for all of us. With your help, all proceeds here will be for Tyler's family and the following:
- Extended family transportation
- Funeral Costs
- Memorial Benefit Concert in Arizona
- Family relocation
- Donations and involvement in Suicide Awareness and Youth
Tyler's celebration of life will be on Saturday August 5. Visitation at 11 and service at 1230 at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home. Food and Drink reception afterwards.
