Help Lay a Friend to Rest

We had a tragic loss this week to one of our fellow friends. Sam was to have a routine surgery this past Monday - Nothing out of the ordinary - however it took a major turn for the worse and she passed away.
Sam was a very young lady with a lot of life left to live. The world is going to be very different for her lack of input, shine, art, and not least, her bright smile. Sam had a knack for all things direct sales and loved her fur babies more than anyone else I knew.
I enjoyed every time I got to spend with her, from bingo to Vegas. Sam always had a helping hand and a willing smile for the craziest ideas or requests.
With this being all said it is a real tragedy that has happened. I cannot fathom the loss and heartbreak that her family are going through right now, let alone the anger that this should never have happened.
While I know they will demand the answers and get justice for this (if proven that it should be done) it will never bring Sam back. For this I have no words that can bestow any inkling of my sorrow.
But I know that Sam would have wanted the best for everyone left here. The sun may seem dim, and hope may seem far away but it will return with time.
With this all being said I'd like to request for help with funeral expenses. No one is ever ready to say goodbye to a child, and money should not be a factor - but will be a hurdle and something that her family should not be stressing about during this time.
Any help you can give will be greatly appricated, be it a prayer, a thought, a helping hand, or maybe a meal.
From all of your friends, we sincerely will miss Sam and our hearts go out to the family in this time.

our heart was broken
without a warning, no words spoken
you were taken away
someone said you could not stay
empty and lonely is what we are
we lost a precious shining star
our family torn apart
your world began with a promising start
life is unfair
this difficult cross we must bear
strength and courage we will find
our special child always in our mind
a place in heaven is where you sit
looking at that star you lit
in our thoughts forever you will be
never knowing why someone set you free
