Forrest Garrett Transplant Fund

After evaluation by the transplant center at Uppsala Academic Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden, my father Forrest Garrett has been offered the unusual opportunity of a pancreas transplant. We currently live 5 hours away from Uppsala and there are no local hospitals that are qualified to do the surgery. The hospital is hoping to perform the surgery in the winter time, but during the upcoming months, there are many tests and procedures needed to prepare for the operation. This will prove to be expensive because of housing, food, and travel requirements. That is why we have decided to reach out by making this GoFundMe page.
