Lydia & Friends Crowdfund Their Bucket List

My name is Kevin Sage, Caregiver and Media Director for a senior living facility in Columbia, TN. I am thrilled to introduce you to my friends, the residents of Poplar Estates, as we launch a campaign to fund an amazing year of Bucket List activities for them. All the things they've always wanted to do but never got the chance, especially during the pandemic. 

Ruby wants to meet Dolly Parton. Sammy wants to try the best steak in Nashville. Robert wants to go on a Caribbean cruise. Joe and his bride of 72 years want to fly in a private jet. And the list of dreams goes on and on, and continues to evolve.


Our residents sacrificed so much over the last year to stay healthy for themselves and their loved one. We would love to bless them with the most incredible year of activities to follow what was probably one of the hardest years of their lives. They couldn't visit with family members during the lockdown, and were quarantined to their rooms for weeks at a time as we did our best to keep everyone healthy. They have more than earned a little fun, and with your help, we can deliver it.

It goes without saying, but time is of the essence in regard to raising these funds. Truthfully, none of us are promised tomorrow, but our residents have lived long lives and we hope to fulfill these dreams as quickly and as safely as we can over the next year.

The funds will be deposited into the Poplar Estates business account. As soon as we raise enough money to start fulfilling our Bucket List, we will begin prioritizing our adventures based on our residents' health conditions. The sooner the better.
