Forever Home for Mister Rider

Hi my name is Fawn Monique, I’ve been volunteering at a local non-kill/non-profit animal shelter for the past year as an energy therapist for the animals. In this year I’ve been able to work with with one of the long time residents of the shelter Rider, after months of working with him he has become a true best friend of mine.

I wish I could bring him home but he has some special requirements which is why he has been at the shelter for so long. He is a handsome boy that takes some time to build trust in you since so many humans have let him down in his life. Rider was dumped at the shelter years ago, and has grown up in the shelter. It is truly sad that a dog gets used to living in a shelter because that is all he knows.

The staff and volunteers surround this handsome fella with so much care and love, he is truly happy there but I wish more for this gentle giant. He has very special needs which has made it very complex on finding the right adopter for him.  I’m asking for donations to be able to adopt Rider, and get him placed at a sanctuary. .

After I adopt him I will then have him immediately placed in a very special animal sanctuary to live out the rest of his life being cared for and spoiled living in his own private facility.  I don’t want to see him get any older or even the worst pass on only knowing the walls of his pen at the shelter.

Kenos Animal Sanctuary serves the animal kingdom to reduce suffering in the animal world and advocate humane behavior through providing rescue, rehabilitation and sanctuary to abandoned, neglected and abused cats, dogs and all animal creatures. They provide permanent hospice/sanctuary to dogs and cats that are non-adoptable or that have struggles getting adopted.

The funds raised will go towards his fee to enter the Keno Sanctuary for dogs with special requirements like Rider has. He will live out the rest of his life on a 10 acre property in Northeast Pennsylvania being in the private care of Kenos.  Rider has already been accepted to be brought into Keno’s I just have to raise the funds for his placement. I know there are so many animals lovers and pit bull lovers out there that want to see this boy get to his forever home.  

As soon as the funds are raised, I will adopt Rider and he will be transported to his new home at Keno Sanctuary in the care of James the owner of this amazing facility. At Keno’s they give these pups that have been let down by humans in their life, a new chance to be dogs.

I love Rider as if he was my own, it breaks my heart to see him living his life as a shelter dog I've been praying that the right human would come around and adopt him, he has been waiting for 4 years now. It would mean the absolute world to me and to him to be able to get him placed at the sanctuary to live out the rest of his years being spoiled and loved. I hope that this gofundme can reach many people and help raise the funds to get him placed every little bit helps no donation is too small.
