For Camdyn

On Aug 9, the Russell family received tragic news that 8-year-old Camdyn had been struck by a passing vehicle as she attempted to cross the street while out walking with her family near her home. Camdyn was critically injured, but amazingly her 10-year-old sister Kaley - who was at the scene and witnessed her sister's accident - had the presence of mind to immediately call 911, and rescue workers arrived in time to stabalize Camdyn and transport her to emergency care at VCU's MCV campus.

Camdyn and her family will be faced with tremendous challenges in the weeks and months ahead, not only physically and emotionally but financially as well. We have created this GoFundMe account to get the word out to all of our friends and family and to anyone who would like to help, to ask that you keep Camdyn and her family in your thoughts, to keep you posted on Camdyn's progress as she works toward recovery, and to provide an easy way for all of us to pool our resources together and give our support to her and her family in their time of need.
