Forbis Family Fund

On September 6, 2017 one-year-old River Forbis was standing in the kithcen with his mom, Betsy (Hildebrand) Forbis.  He  reached up and accidentally bumped a boiling pot of water.  That water spilt down his chest, stomach and left arm.  Thankfully uncle Alex was home and they raced River to the emergency room.  River was then sent by ambulence to the Burn Center at St. Elizabeth's in Lincoln.  River has suffered 2nd degree burns.  They were able to do a pig skin graft and get the wounds covered.  River is battling high fevers and is in a lot of pain.

Derrick, Betsy and River are on a long road to recovery.  The Forbis Family just moved back to York a month ago and are still trying to get settled in.  With such a tragic accident, medical bills and numerous weeks off from work, please help support the Forbis Family in this time of need.

The Hildebrand and Forbis families are the BEST, most genuine and loving people I've ever known.  If anyone deserves a helping hand, it is them.  They would be forever grateful.  Let's come together as a community and support this young family!
