Jodie is one of the greatest neighbors one could ask for. She helped put a smile on your face and brightened your day even when her world was dark and gray.
This year Jodie filed for divorce from her abusive husband. Sadly, this wasn’t enough to keep the darkness away. Before leaving this world, her ex destroyed her home and left her wounded. The pain and suffering he inflicted on Jodie and her daughter is unimaginable.
Jodie and her family deserve to move forward with dignity. Her wounds will heal, but not before undergoing multiple surgeries and an extensive hospital stay. The home she returns to, should be a place for healing. Not serve as a constant reminder of the tragic night her ex attempted to rob her family from life.
