For Uncle & Brother Jamie Wenman



Our dear beloved uncle and brother James Edwin (also know as Jamie, Eddie or Ted!). He is a wonderful, sweet, gentle soul and an extremely talented artist. He has had a really rough time of it recently! He has been diagosed with bowel cancer which has sadly spread. Living in South Africa without any medical aid/health insurance cover he has been unable to access urgent intervention that he so desparately needed. After being sent home from the government hospital in Port Elizabeth, 2 hours from his home, on several occassions without receiving any form of diagnostic treatment, he was finally offered an MRI. The results showed the above prognosis and it was too late to operate. He has been offered some basic palliative care which so far hasn't amounted to much!  

He is currently at home, and unable to afford any alternative medications or foods, or even petrol to get himself back to the hospital for any further care as it will be needed.

We are in need of funds in order to make his time at home as comfortable as possible during this time. We are in the UK and are trying to assist from here with limited funds, his two sisters Lee and Barbara are on their way to South Africa to look after him.

If anyone is able to help with any amount of funds, prayer or even practical help, please do so as a matter of urgency. We love our Jamie and we would really appreciate any kind of help.
