For Kena and the Yan Lans

Donation protected
LaKena Alesana YanLan.  Loving wife; wonderful mother of 5; devoted servant of God; and a sister in Christ for many, lost her battle with cancer and was accepted into the house of the Lord on September 7, 2018. Kena will be remembered as someone with a beautiful soul who inspires others to Christ. Kena loves her family and the church with passion.  Moreover, she loved the Lord. Kena deeply believes that we are the body of Christ and she abides by God’s command that we are on earth to do God’s work. She takes every opportunity to witness her faith in God through her work with the church and with her family. Her gift of music and laughter touched many of us. Her spirit of giving is relentless as she has taught us how to reach out to the most in need in our society.  We will miss her optimism, her commitment, as well as her strength as a disciple of Christ.

Kena’s desire was to rest in peace besides her mother and father back in her home country of Samoa.  Those of us who have been touched by her are determine to make her last wish a reality. The cost of sending Kena and her family back to Samoa will be made easier by your generous donation. Kena was always  willing and readied to help when we needed her. We hope you are inspired to do the same for Kena. May God continue to bless Kena and her family at this time. Peace.
