With all that is already going on, and stress levels heightened during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Romano family has been forced out of their "safe place" by a house fire. Their home is not livable.
The Romano Family woke up to prepare for their day on Friday, April 3, when they started to smell smoke. When they realized it was their home, and coming from their attic, they grabbed their three children, mother, and dog and ran outside.
While the house can be repaired, the extent of the fire and water damage will cause the family to be displaced for the next few months. The family is extremely grateful for their safety and health, and especially for the quick action taken by the local fire department and responders who were able to arrive and contain the fire from spreading. The family was told that a few more minutes longer and they would not have been able so fortunate.
