For the love of Doxies

Hello Family and Friends,

As you all know just from knowing Ed and me throughout the years, our sweet dachshunds have been our whole world. They have given endless unspeakable joy throughout their lives. Unfortunately, they are all aging now, and I have been hit with vet bills and sadly, euthanasia and cremation costs twice in the last two months. Now, my LongJohns is not well with a large lump on his shoulder that needs to be evaluated, and I pray to God, not another euthanasia. I don’t think I can take it. On top of the grief is the stress of the exorbitant costs of veterinary care. I try to do the best for them as I can, but I am just running out of the means. They are coming at me too fast and too often.

My darling dachshunds deserve the best care, and so I decided to bury my pride and beg. It’s not something I ever thought I would see myself doing, as I like to stand on my own two feet and take care of things by myself. It’s time to admit that I need help. If anyone feels so inclined, please donate to my fund for the care of my dachshunds, and if you just can’t, know that I get it. Your prayers and emotional support are also invaluable.
