It is with very heavy hearts we come together to honour the sudden tragic loss of not only our mate and colleague but also a son, husband, father and grandfather.
The Mining Industry in Australia is large and has been around for a very long time.
If you don't work in , have tried it before or have a family member who does then you no doubt at least know someone in this line of work.
Mining is not an easy lifestyle by any means, we work long hours, stay in small rooms in camps away from our families and loved ones and have to miss out on a lot whilst away.
It is through the love and support from our families and our mates at work that we are able to do what we do.
Each week we have to say goodbye to our families, telling them how much we will miss them and that we will see them at the end of our swing.
Sadly our mate and fellow colleagues father Dave who was widely loved and respected is not going home to his family this week and as a collective from all four crews on our little site we want to raise as much as we can to help support his family in this tragic time.
Their loss is already a burden they should not have bare and we are reaching out to not only the entire Mining Community across Australia but anyone who can give to a Family who has lost so much so suddenly.
Every little bit helps and we thank you for your kindness from the bottom of our hearts.
