The reason for this gofundme, is to help out a close and very dear friend of mine. She has been there for me in my tough times without faltering. I've had some really rough patches in my life... but what she is going through right now is breaking my heart.
Her mom is being taken off life support this afternoon and passed away, as I type this I think about how strong she is being for her kids. Her mom was diagnosed with liver cancer no more than 2 months ago and it feels like those two months passed by us as if they were days. Soon after her mom was diagnosed she was told she will be losing her job of 10+ years. She stayed positive and took it as a sign, so that she spends more time with her mom.
She has been by her side every single day since. I have never seen anyone stay so positive and strong as she has... and even though she says she doesn't need help. We are going to help her. She needs funds to pay for funeral costs and other small expenses.
Please help us reach our goal to help with funeral costs, and a way for Sonia and her children to get through this hardship with financial and emotional support to be able to get back on her feet.
