For Sebastian Woodroffe's Funeral

Donation protected
In April 2018, 41-year-old Canadian Sebastian Paul Woodroffe of Cumberland, B.C. was killed in the indigenous community of Victoria Gracia, Peru where he'd been studying shamanic plant healing toward becoming an addiction counsellor.  He leaves behind a partner and child.

Rumours have swirled around the motive for Woodroffe's untimely death and the murder of an elderly female shaman, Olivia Arevalo Lomas. The global community of Amazonian plant healing and shamanism has been deeply touched by this tragedy and cannot judge at this time what may be the outcome of a police investigation.

From compassion for Woodroffe's family in Canada, this GoFundMe campaign has been set up with Woodroffe's sister Jessica as the beneficiary. Her bank account is directly linked to the campaign and she can access the funds to help defray the expenses related to handling and transportation of Woodroffe's remains. A similar fundraising campaign has been established by others for the family of Olivia Arevalo Lomas.

Thanks in advance for your kind and compassionate contributions. Our prayers are with the families of the victims at this sad time.

GoFundMe has asked via email that I specfically tell the public more about myself, as part of establishing that this is a credible campaign. (My first version said nothing about myself.) My name is Guy Crittenden and I live in Toronto, Canada and am an established writer about ayahuasca and Amazonian plant shamanism.  I set up this campaign so the community of Amazon plant healers and their supporters can show support for the survivors of this tragedy.
