For Roy's fight

A couple days ago I recieved a phone call from my mom that changed my family's life forever. My step dad had fuzzy vision so he went to see a doctor and they discovered a brain tumor. Luckily he was able to get to the hospital the next day and get it checked out. Unfortunetly, it turns out  the tumor is maliginant but operatable. He is  getting it removed within the next couple days but even after getting it removed he is only given 15 months to live. Brain surgery is expensive, as everyone knows and the medication to keep him alive for the next year is costly as well. He will be in and out of the hospital weekly for the remainder of his time with us.  Cancer is an awful thing but all we can do is pray for a miracle and that he doesn't suffer. I, his step daughter, have lived with him for a little less than 10 years. I am away at college now and I'm just trying to do all that I can to help. My sister is 16 and is still at home with my family helping them through this tough time.  My half sister however is only 7, and this is her father.  I remember when my parents got divorced I was only 6. I hardly have any memory of them being together. I just want my youngest sister to be able to remember her father and hopefully get to spend the next 15 months with him. Even if that happens he won't be here to see his only actual daughter graduate high school. I can't even imagine how hard this is going to be for my 7 year old sister.  She is so positive and full of life and can make anyone smile. My mom is the strongest person I know and I know she needs help financially but has never been the type of person to ask for help or beg for anything. She does not know about this yet but I just am trying to do what I can to help. Being a single mother raising a 7 year old is going to be the hardest thing I could ever imagine so if anyone is willing to donate, even a dollar, it helps. Even if I only raise enough money for a week's worth of medicine, it helps. My step dad is strong and never shows weakness and is the most generous person I know. Please pray for him and my family during this rough time and keep in mind how precious life is. Thank you.
