Dear friends and family near and far,
I am humbled by your love. So many people have come to me in the past few days pouring out there generous support in prayer, meals, and childcare.
I am overwhelmed by the fountain of grace that I have received.
For those of you who do not know, David and I have spent the past year struggling with mental illness. In the past couple weeks David reached a point mentally where neither he or I could go any further and went to the hospital where he has been receiving treatment and counseling. Out of respect for him and his recovery process I don't want to go into too much detail. However we have great hope that the sun is beginning to shine upon our darkness.
However, in the wake of this very long struggle there is much to sort out, financially, spiritually, and physically. We all, David, our 5 beautiful children: Sampson, Johnny, Philomena, Alyosha, Nickolas, and I will need much healing from this past year. Over the course of the next few months we will all be learning and seeking counseling. Financial pressure makes it difficult to have the time and freedom to take things one step at a time. And so, I humbly receive any gift that is offered, whether it be financially or in prayer. My only request is that no one feel pressure to give financially. I have many times been unable to help people in their financial struggles and completely understand.
I assure you that your prayers and friendship are by far enough. I trust in Gods love to work out the rest. Thank you again for all of your support. You are also in my prayers and thoughts.
