Hello Friends + Family,
Sitting here writing this, is a bit of shocker and challenge for me. For those of you who might not know, my mom, Jeannie, was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme back in September.
In August, Mom started experiencing dizziness. A few weeks later she started getting weak on the left side of her body showing signs of a stroke. After testing, they discovered a large inoperable brain tumor which has left her bedridden with no mobility except in her right arm.
This was not only a huge shock but a moment that would instantly change our lives.
During this time, God continues to prove Himself faithful. He has given us the friends and family to support us during this difficult journey. We know that ultimately He will take us through this.
Since September, Mom has been in the hopstial or in a nursing facility. She started chemo and radiation but unfortunately those two treatments did not shrink or stop the growth of the tumor. Although she will continuing treatment - it is encourage that we bring her home to enjoy her time with her family and friends.
With that being said, many of you have reached out to see how you can fiancially support our family throughout this time. First off, God has and will continue to provide for our family throughout this very difficult time but we wanted to provide this forum in the event you'd like to support us.
Any funds given, will be directly used to continue the best quality of life for mom as well as anything that insurance may not cover such as transportation and additional medical aid support.
More importantly, Mom NEEDS your prayers. She needs a miracle.
In the event, that not all funds are used we will donate to a charity at a later date.
